The barber the stars trust

At Eric:Barbier, every man is welcomed with open arms – no matter what he does for a living or what language he speaks. We want everyone to thoroughly enjoy their time in our salons, switch off, and return to their daily lives feeling great after their appointment. Word has clearly got around, which is why we’ve already had the pleasure of welcoming a number of celebrity guests. Regulars know the score: you never know who’s having their hair cut next door.
Plenty to laugh about
Harald Schmidt, for example, a true icon of German television, stepped into our salon on Ballindamm in Hamburg city centre. The entertainer and actor relaxed at Eric:Barbier with a view of the Alster and let Anthony give him a fresh new style. Our master barber had plenty to laugh about with the host of the legendary late-night show.
From the pitch to the barber’s chair
Things have already got sporty with a few customers. In 2017, four players from the Crocodiles Hamburg ice hockey club had various moustache styles shaved at our salon to raise money for cancer prevention as part of the Movember campaign. Footballers feel right at home with us too: former HSV defensive stalwart Johan Djourou, along with midfield playmaker Albin Ekdal and former international Nicolai Müller, popped in to see us and were impressed by our work.
And action!
‘From Hollywood to Hamburg’ was the motto of US actor Jonathan Tucker. During his visit to the Hanseatic city last October, the Westworld star made a point of booking an appointment at Eric:Barbier and, once the job was done, posing for a photo with our master barber Behar. The smile on Tucker’s lips reveals that the Boston native was very pleased with the result.
Discretion is our top priority
We could go on with this list – but we won’t. Because a visit to Eric:Barbier is, above all, meant to be a relaxing experience. Among others, many big names from the business world come to us to update their look, naturally with the utmost discretion. As we said: you never know who’s having their hair done next door.
