Ballindamm runs along the eastern side of the Binnenalster, between Jungfernstieg and Kennedybrücke. The U1, U2 and U4 underground lines and the suburban railway stop at Jungfernstieg; from there it is a short walk under the Alster arcades. Arriving by car in the city centre is rarely cheap, so public transport is the better choice here.
Around the shop you find the town hall, shopping streets and the old counting houses. Once we are done with you, the waterside view comes for free: a lap around the Alster pairs well with a fresh cut.

History
Eric:Barbier has existed in Hamburg since 1977, and Ballindamm is the oldest of our three locations. This is where the craft that made the name known is at home. Master barber Anthony Stölting runs the house and passes on to his team what he learned himself.
Some of our clients have been coming for many years. They value that the essentials of the shop do not change, and recommend it to friends and family. That constancy is the reason we hold on to the old rituals.
What remains is what stood at the beginning: a chair, a mirror, a master with razor and scissors. We develop the grooming products we work with ourselves. If you want to keep up the care at home, you will find them in our online shop as well.
